Season 8: Devin Braune makes it three in a row

Devin Braune celebrated his third consecutive World eX title in 2025. Season 8 was the first with the eX ZERO Evo. The further developed electric sports car featured adjustable ABS and optimised aerodynamics. Although Braune won all eight feature races and the Super Final, the series was more competitive than ever before. Braune was beaten twice in the sprint races with reverse grid. Up to 17 drivers competed in the nine events. The runner-up spot went to young German kart driver Jarno Wiese. Steffen Walter was able to improve from sixth to third place in the championship with a second place in the Super Final. As the field had already become closer in 2024, the AM class was abbondened in 2025.
