Michael Niemas also dominates at the Nürburgring

Michael Niemas will continue to be counted on as a favourite in the new RCCO E-Sport Series. The CEO of Niemas Racecars won rounds three and four of the virtual electric racing series on the Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring with ease.

In the first race, Niemas achieved a commanding lights-to-flag victory from pole position. Runner-up Björn Skottke was more than ten seconds behind after ten laps. The podium was completed by Stefan Waschow.

In the second race, Niemas won by 40 seconds in cooler conditions. However, he benefited from the fact that there was a wild fight for the other two podium positions behind him. For a long time, Bettina Schuller, the only lady on the grid, was running in second place. However, Schuller did not change tyres and in the closing stages shell dropped back after a detour into the gravel of the Dunlop curve.

Thomas Voigt had the best strategy in the second race. The record champion of the RCCO slotcar series got fresh tyres at half time and moved in the last two laps from fifth to second place. Thus, Voigt achieved this first podium in the RCCO E-Sport Series on his fourth attempt.

Third place in the second Nürburgring race went to Björn Skottke.
