Slotracing restart delayed

No RCCO slot car races in 2021

July 1, 2021

Eldert Hedden remains defending RCCO Champion for another year following a decision of RCCO to postpone any race action to 2022 following the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The plans to run the whole 2022 season on a sole weekend at BILSTER BERG in an open air location had to be abbandoned because the location is not available on the planned weekend. Due to the COVID-19 situation the RCCO decided not to seek any alternative venues for 2021 but to work on a return of the popular series for 2022. The "big small" electric racing series RCCO is the most popular slotracing series in the world established in 1991. In the RCCO 24-hour race in the Autostadt in Wolfsburg in November 2019 the RCCO introduced its next generation chassis which has exclusively been designed for the #VisionRCCO slot cars. These new cars will now have to wait until 2022 for their second race.
